A prayer for absolute desperation

St. Jude, my powerful and faithful intercessor, please intercede for me! There is nothing I want more than to get the love of my life back. He isn't himself, his depression and drinking has taken over his life and replaced me. I don't know what to do. How can he expect me to move on and just let him isolate himself?

If I push for him to get help, he pulls away, and if I just go along with things as if they were ok, I feel like I'm just encouraging his problems. St. Jude please help him help himself so we can go back to the way things were. I'm desperate. There isn't another man I want.

Sometimes I think he wishes I would just find another so that this could all be easier, so that he can just sit and drink and do nothing because that's what he thinks he wants. I beg you St. Jude have mercy on us; please grant my most earnest petition. Thank you. Amen.
