Pray again. Don't stop. Just like the law of Physics, no 2 things can occupy the same place at the same time. Same goes for prayer and thoughts. If your mind is focused on a prayer, it cannot focus on a another thought UNLESS you are focused on fighting that thought or weakness, then you are combining the prayer with your weakness. Pray again. Give thanks to something else. Pray for someone else. Take your mind away from the painful want through all prayers for both you and others.
Get out. Go find others in need. Help them. Give yourself to others in love and kindness. Physics again, for every action there is an equal reaction (equal energy coming back to the source). Give. Love. You will get back love. You need it like you need air and food. You can't get food easily or money easily without work. You have to work to get so you must give.
If you do these things to occupy your time when you are hopeless, God picks you up because He is working through you. The energy burns in you. It is awesome. If others don't feel it or respond the way you think they should, don't be discouraged. They fight demons too just like you. Keep going with love in your heart.
With this, you will conquer all things and rebuild yourself. You can do all things through Him. If you pray to go to ....Disney World, but sit waiting for a man to pick you up and hand you tickets, you will wait forever. If you want Disney, you must work in that direction. Don't sit. God loves you. Love Him back with his will.

Refuse to die

If god can heal a man of leprosy. Surely he will heal you. Everyday declare that you refuse to die and the blood Jesus is covering you.Find a bible and read the 23 Psalms, 35 Psalms, 91 Psalms.

Hello, my name is Viv..I'm a addict myself..I've fought cocaine and alcoholism for years. I'm 37 w/6 kids.. I just got out of an abusive marriage back in 2009. And girl I went wild...going out doing whatever and who eve... Sad but true. I also got caught up and got myself a felony charge, which I got put on probation..but that still didn't stop me. I just got out of my second rehab....SAF-P. And that was no walk in the park. The only thing that kept me going was the Good Lord Above and other addicts sharing our thoughts and ways to beat the sickness we had. Once I completed my rehab I got involved in a relationship after I left the Half way house and lived with a Beautiful man that accepted me and my messed up pass. I unfortunately lost him just this yr. And after about 18 months..I relapsed...Omg...that's the wrist feeling ever. But I knew it was not the person that I had become....theirs slot more to life than getting high or drunk..I have now gotten back on track and I don't take the days that I am given for granted..So I tell u..be Strong.Stay away from those that drag u down. Their called Choices...And their is a time in our lives that we just have to grow up and not let the evil things of this world bring us down or Control us...U are better than that..prove it to yourself with Gods help and as time passes your family and friends will also see a New You!!!! Don't give up...we have both lost our loved ones but they r both looking down at u and me right now as I type this to u...lets make our Angels Proud...Smile Sweety..God will lead u, if u allow him to....Take care and God Bless U and Your Family and Friends.... ;-)

God Will Save You

Be at Peace. You are turning to Abba Father for help in prayer and I pray with you. Dear Father Who Art In Heaven. Hollowed is Your Name, Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will Be Done, On Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us This Day Our Daily Bread. Forive us
our Debtors as we Forgive Those who Tresspass against us.
Lead on not into Temptation but Deliver Us from Evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the Power for Ever. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Dear Abba Father, Deliver this person who repents and ask you for help. Restore this person for your Kingdom, forever. Amen
Have a Blessed Day and Night. Being a young person and now
turning to God our Father, will Sparkle a Light in the Darkness,
and hopefully other young people will be encouraged by your choice to go and Praise God instead of being involved with drugs which is the work of the Devil.
Holy, Holy, Holy
Lord God, Thank You
For Giving Your Son Jesus
To Die on the Cross for All
Of Our Sins. Amen

prayer for addict

Lord Jesus, we are unworthy of your love and forgiveness but we ask that you please lift your child and carry him/her through these times of need. Please rebuke evil spirits of addiction and accept his/her repentance of the way he/she treated family members and friends during their time of addiction. Please place it in the heart of a family member or friend to see their time of need and give this child of your a place to rest their head at night. Please continue to guide this child of yours in the right direction and I pray that you lead him/her to a church where he/she can hand all his needs over to you. Please let your presence be felt so that he/she doesn't feel lonely during this time of change. If it be Your Will please bring back the lost love into their life. If it not Your Will, please give them the patience and understanding he/she needs until you give him/her their future spouse. AMEN

first off, you are 24. So do not fear for what's happened to your life for that is still to come. Also it says in the bible: Do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will care for itself. Not only will I be praying for you, but I know that you will get over this. I can tell because you have sought the Lord and now He will send you an angel in your life to change you. Continue to love God and seek help and you will find it.

Go to the nearest emergency room, please.

Every hospital has a crisis nurse who will be able to help you and give you hope. Go to the ER and accept being admitted as a voluntary patient. There are doctors and social workers on the unit who will be able to place you in a rehab facility and the nurses will help you detox safely. You need no insurance to receive this help, just the willingness to go off drugs. Your life can begin again and you can have a fresh start! It is not easy but very worth it. You really have lost everything precious to you and have been on the road to death. Choose life! God wants that for you and does have a special plan for your life. Try to discover what amazing things He has in store for you and then 10 years from now you will look

Blessing To You

I prayed for you this morning and will continue to pray. You can beat this addiction. Your family and friends still love you and they are showing their love by not enabling you...which is harder than you realize. Find a sponsor. Find a detox or rehab center. Union Gospel Mission works miracles if there is one close to you. Teen Challenge is excellent. These programs are free. You just need to decide to make the 1st step. Please do it. I lost one son to heroin. I have another who is still struggling. Love yourself enough to save yourself. You are a worthy person and I am sending you my prayers.

A prayer for you

Let God lead you away from a most addictive lifestyle. If you haven't or aren't in a good rehab facility please find one that will accept you. You have been tempted with a very powerful source that unfortunately will always be with you. God is the one big difference that can help you. Let Him guide you to the places & people who will be able to help you. It may seem like all is lost forever but if you do all the hard work, follow God, & always continue to go to ur NA/AA meetings then good things will start to happen in your life. I personally know of three people who have done this and they have all been welcomed back into their families. It will take time but just remember God is there to help you along the way.

Don't worry
by: slugdiamond

Dear fellow addict, do not fear. The power of our Creator can overcome all adversity. I speak from experience my friend. Stick with Him, he will stick with You! Your answer may not be apparent, or immediate, but it will come in His time. He has a plan for you! Never fear, never give up hope. You are here for a reason, and you will know when it comes. What you go through today merely makes you stronger for tomorrow. I'm 48 now, and am lucky to be here at all. Homeless at 17 years old on the streets of Miami, FL. Through the Creator's grace and plan I now have a wonderful wife who is perfect for me, and two loving children who I am SURE I was put here to protect. NEVER give up hope!

Prayer for Help
by: Chris

Hi to whom this may concern, I am a recovering addict also, once lost it all just like you.I will pray that the Lord will give you the grace to deal with your addiction on a daily basis. One day at a time...thats all we have. Don't worry about the past but concentrate on the moment,it is really hard but it it will get easier as time goes on. Say the Rosary and give it to the Blessed Mother she will help you with this horrible disease. The Rosary is very powerful, it is our strength when we are weak. Also say the Serenity Prayer when ever you get an urge to use. " God Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference" God Bless you!!!

IT CAN BE DONE
by: Anonymous

With age comes wisdom, now that you are growing up, and becoming aware of what you have done to others and not just your-self and your love of the drugs you were addicted to, the now is the time for renewal. we have seen this in the past with some of the younger members of our families. A boy who stole drug money from the Grandmother who had brought him up, got given the chance of a flat and a job if he could stay clean. He received the love and prayers of his Grandmother and her church group, and that support led him to turn his life around, he is now clean and a father himself and doing well. The family couldn't be more proud of him. His cousin realised on the birth of her daughter that she couldn't still keep getting arrested and put in prison again for the things that she did for her junkie boyfriend now she had her daughter to look after so she left him and her baby turned her life round, and she has now returned to the fold of the family she used to lie and steal from, she put the child first and now although the child does not have 1 bad father, she has a wonderful Grandfather and Grandmother, Aunts and Uncles and cousins who all support her and her mother. It can be done if you really want to, it may take years to regain the trust but god willing you will. We here all pray for you future now you know what you have done and can see the harm you did. We pray that that little bit of your old old self before drugs will shine through, we pray for gods help to keep you on the good path to forgiveness, and that you keep up your spirits ans do no get led back off the path, and we pray for you to endure to reach you goal and a reunion in the end with those who deep down will still love you.
amen
