Bring forth the right job for me

by Jo
(Ca. USA)

Dear Lord, I have been in my job for 27 years, I hoped to retire from here, but the new boss I have seems to be doing everything in her power to get rid of me, she and her boss do not seem to like older age employees, I am continuously mentally abused and under extreme stress, I feel sick every day I have to be there with chest pains and severe headaches.

I want and need to continue working until my retirement. I want relief from this daily stress, please help me find another position or find her a fabulous promotion where she would be happy to go. I know your time is the right time, but I am very tired now and every day weighs on me where all I think about is work worry and work. Thank you all for the prayers. God Bless St. Jude, please hear my prayer.

May God fill you with his grace
by: LD

Dear Jo,

I work in similar stressful conditions and can feel your pain. Please learn to force yourself to not take things personally yet remember Jesus who faced the same mistreatment and rejection from man. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you with strength each day and put purpose and determination back in your stride. Do not lose hope, we serve an awesome God. Sending prayers and hugs out for you! Stay well..

I am praying God gives you total peace, and that the oppression of the enemy leaves... Choose to have the JOY of Christ, do not let the enemy steal that from you. The JOY of the Lord is your strength! Also, praying that God will open doors of oppurtunity to you fellow soldier in Christ! He is coming quickly for his children!

Time for yourself..

I am sorry for what you are going through. It does not seem fair to work somewhere for so long and then be bullied by a new person. As difficult as it is, just treat her with kindness. That is all you can do. Pray for her, that she will be kind and treat others with the respect that they deserve. Try some daily prayer or journal writing or even meditation. Find something to busy yourself outside of work, spend some time doing nice things for yourself. The situation is not in your control so all you can do is be kind, pray for her to be kind, and treat yourself with kindness. I hope the best for you.
