Dear Lord, Help Me!

by Tammie ()

Greetings Everyone:

I come to you in the the mighty name of Jesus, praying for complete guidance and strength over my life and decision making.
Right now I am struggling with a relationship that I have been off and on in for over 35 years and for the past several years, I decided to place God first and remove myself from the horrible situation. I am truly focusing on serving the Lord and making him number one in my life.

I really find myself struggling so hard at times, because our relationship started in the 80’s and over the years, up until as recent as yesterday, he still contacts me periodically. At this point I am committed to abstinence, and have refrained from being with a man for 3 years now and diligently praying to remain this way until marriage, I often wonder though, is this the man God has for me, because I am 59 yrs old and he is 54 now, I just don’t understand why we are still re-connecting and have been all these years, is God trying to tell us something?

If only God would change (EH), this mans’ mindset, I would love to be with him for the rest of my life, but I also know that God may have other plans for our lives. Please help us to see clearly Lord!

We both attend the same church, so we will be seeing more of each other now that our in-person church services has resumed. I know that this is not our focus while in church, but we need to hear from you Lord!

We both are really in need of prayer by those who sincerely Know the power of prayer. Please pray that we will be shown by God, the path we must take and may we always place God first in everything. Open our hearts and minds so that we both will understand that, if this is truly God’s desire for the two of us, then we will respect and love one another, and no man or woman shall come between us.

Thank you all, so incredibly much!
To God Be All The Glory and Honor, Always!
