job offer contingent upon background check

I interviewed and was offered a full time job. My first in a long time because my daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2009. She IS (praise God and his angels)finally in remission from Leukemia. Because I had to take care of her, my financial situation greatly deteriorated. I need this job because I could not pay my credit card and I now have a judgment on my record. I have contacted the company and made financial arrangements.

I am sweating the fact the job offer might be rescinded as it stipulates *contingent* on a successful drug/criminal background check. I do not use or abuse drugs, that came back clean. I have never been convicted of a crime, I have a stellar driving record and 2 letters of recommendation from former employers. I am more than capable of doing the work (administrative-nothing to do with handling any money.) I am terrified that they will call me and say that they cannot offer me the job. I would appreciate any support. I have been praying for guidance too. Thank you.
