Lay me down Prayer

Look upon this little child. Pity my simplicity, help me Lord to come to thee. Now i lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul shall keep. If i should die before i wake, I pray the Lord my soul shall take. May angels watch me through the night, And keep me safe 'til morning Light Teach me to always say what's true. Be willing in every task I do. Help me to be good each day, and lead me in thy holy way. I pray whatever wrongs I've done, You will forgive me every one. Be near me when I wake again, and Bless all of those I love. Amen. |
