Our Father Prayer [The Lords Prayer]The very famous Our Father Prayer, or Lord's Prayer, was given by Jesus to his apostles as a way of establishing their connection to God the Father. Its modern text is: Hallowed be Thy name. They Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, And the glory forever. Amen! The traditional wording is different. Line 6 is "And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us."
