Lord Jesus, I pray and ask for your forgiveness for my failures. I ask that you help grow my faith and courage as I face the legal challenges and potential prison time before me. I ask for you to intercede and allow the judge to recognize my worth as an individual, father, and provider and allow me to stay out of prison and continue being a father and provider for my two boys. I thank you for walking with me through this trying time in my life and for providing me the opportunity for self-reflection on my past decisions. I love my family, I love you, even though I struggle with my past and am not always fully aware of everything I have to be grateful about. Please allow me to remain a part of my sons lives and help me to guide them properly to not make the same mistakes I have made. Help break the chain of brokenness in our family’s history. Please bless my ex-wife A.S. and provide a hedge of protection around her and forgive my unfaithfulness in our marriage and my breaking of my vow to her and you. Stand with me Lord. Amen.
