Prayer for a lost child

So many times I have failed you, done things against your will. So many times I have chosen the wrong path, here I am, alone and lost again.No where to go, and I remember that there was never a time that you left me,Inspite of my shortcomings you have continuously blessed me.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness and may you also guide me on how I could forgive myself for the mistakes I have committed.Grant me please Father the strength to move on. To live, not for myself but for the people I care about. I may not be able to correct those mistakes again.But I beg you Father, I need you and your forgiveness. I need to feel the comfort of your loving care that I may desire to live life again.
