Prayer for a successful surgery

I have an upcoming surgery for a large uterine fibroid. I have never had surgery before and this will be a fairly major procedure. Please pray for a successful surgery and that the doctors are able preserve my uterus and accompanying organs so that I am able to have children. Preserving my reproductive organs is my biggest worry.

Great news...my surgery went as perfectly as it could go! The mass was removed and it was benign. I am almost 2 weeks post op. My uterus did not need to be disturbed and both baby and I are healthy. Thank you God for making this possible and thanks to all for the prayers and well wishes. I truly believe that they made success possible

Renee, I had the same situation with a fibroid and my second pregnancy. The doctors said the fibroids would grow larger and possibly cause me to miscarry, however once again trust in God pulled me through. My pregnancy was carried to full term and the fibroids shrunk. God can do all things and He does. Just put your faith in Him. I also prayed daily to St. Ann (patron Saint of mothers) for her intercession. Prayer is one of the most powerful and rewarding tool.

New wrinkle to my fibroid issue NEW

I had some testing done last Thursday for the fibroid I have to have removed. On Friday, I found out that I am pregnant! I am overjoyed and terrified at the same time. The existing fibroid condition is going to make things really sticky. I am praying for my safety as well as the safety of the baby. I am going to do whatever I can to preserve the blessing of this child.

Lord, please be with Renee as she goes in for this surgery. Go before her, Lord, and be with the surgeon and nurses and others that will be in that operating room. May Your Spirit be there with her to comfort and give peace. May she have that 'peace that passes all understanding.' Thank you, Lord. You are good! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
