Prayer for Money for Christmas

I feel guilty asking to pray for money but despite the fact that my husband and I have employment we have no extra money to buy anything for our children.

I ask God and St Jude to help us to be able to provide a Christmas for our children. They are good boys and deserve some presents. We do not need a wealth of money just to be able to put some presents under the tree so that they may enjoy the Christmas spirit.

I would also like to pray for all those other parents who find themselves in a similar situation, that God can help them in their time of need as well.
