Prayer for My Recent Baptism

Got baptised on Easter Saturday- my pastor told me to just lean on God and rejoice. I feel like iv been getting attacked. Im getting easily frustrated and easily angry for no reason and it hurts me because im hurting the people closest to me. I never was like this i was all about laughing and being happy and making everyone around me happy.

336x280:

Please pray for me - pray that i just lean NOT on my own understanding! I feel as if my mother is getting spiritual attacked as well as she spilled boiling hot water on her hand now the doctors are saying she may need plastic surgery although i do not believe that all.

I want to feel peace love and calmness like i had been i want to stay in the right path with the Lord i want to cast all my worries and anxiety onto him. I know my faith is getting tested at the moment. i just need to stay focused on God i want to be righteous as he was i know no one can be perfect like Christ but i want to be just Christ was Christ like. I want to be calm and that loving warm person people weren't afraid to talk to,

Please help me by praying for me

praying for you
by: Anonymous

God calls each one of us, for a unique and genuinely important purpose. When you were called to baptism, and received the sacraments it was the very beginning of an important journey with him.
I've taught and helped with RCIA for a long time, and before that, I was a convert to the faith. Received the sacraments back in 1998.
I've noticed through the years some people have a battle for a while before and after receiving the sacraments. It's almost as if (and could be) that the evil one is really testing you.
Luke 22:31 31"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; 32but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."…
This may be a time of trial for you, very distinct and different than it might be for someone else. God always supplies the strength needed during these times.
If necessary, even though it's been a very short time, it might be wise to go to confession. I always go to confession when in the midst of a trial, or entering into some kind of spiritual battle.
Pray, even if you don't feel like prayer. Pray differently, perhaps. If you're not familiar with the rosary go to www.comepraytherosary.org and pray with the rest of the world.

In my heart I believe that if this battle seems to be a very difficult one, you must have a very strong and beautiful soul.

Trust in the Lord, and know that you have my prayers.
