I now come to You Lord because I am burdened and I need rest.
My son has been desperately trying to get a job. He has filled out hundreds of applications online and walked the streets. Has had several interviews and has been told that he had a very impressive resume and was being considered. But, then doesn’t hear from them again.
His drawback is that he just turned 50 and has to compete with younger applicants. He is loyal and hardworking. He got as far as almost getting hired. They were supposed to send him for a drug test. He thought that was a good sign but then was told he didn’t have enough experience.
He has had many hardships in his life, he lost his wife to cancer. They purchased a home together, closed on a Thursday and the following Wednesday she passed away sooner than expected. He ended up losing his home because they increased the association fees, put a lien for new roofs and he was unable to sell it. On a single income he could not afford the additional fees. Never ever asked for help. But, now he is living with us and it’s very hard on him and on us. Today he is helping out in a temporary construction job, not sure how long it will last.
Please Lord hear our prayer. You know his needs and I put my son into your hands.

Such wonderful prayers for our boy! I too have a son who needs God’s direction, guidance and support in his search for full time employment. He is well educated, kind and has a wonderful attitude but cannot find his way in the UK job market. I do not wish to impose on God as there are so many people who need so much more. Well my son found a job and many things in his life have gotten better especially his attitude and his health is even improving. It’s amazing how when one positive thing happens to someone that they can build on it and more positive things happen.

My son, healthy, very kind (even to a fault at times), loves everyone, has a big heart, but has ‘lazy eye’ (amblyopia) which has stopped him from his desired job, he wants to be a FedEx or UPS driver. He loves helping people, and can’t get any work in the field he loves due to his eye issue. He has worked over 10 years in the food service and bar area but doesn’t like the constant change in management and inconsistent rules and regs. One manager leaves, one comes in and changes everything. Corporate finds out and verbally chastises everyone. He’d be a great employee. He just needs God to give him a little help. He’s getting depressed now and that’s not good. He’s even questioning why God would put someone on this earth and not allow him/her a fair equitable chance an simply existing/making a living. He’s really wondering why he is even here.

My son has been one of the kind son, respectful, loving, and overall has never given us painful moments, has been a hard worker since age 14. My son has been in search of a job, but no luck. It seems like all his friends are getting the jobs he applied for. I can’t seem to figure it out. I don’t want him to get discouraged. He just graduated, and really has no idea what he wants to do yet. Lord I ask that you guide him into the direct he needs to go and my he allow you to show him the way. Please pray for my son Marcus who is living in New York. He is struggling to find a job so as he can stay there longer as he loves the life. Please give him confidence in himself. He is losing his dignity, can’t pay back his Student loans and is a really nice man at 50. He went back to school after working Construction for many years but for some reason he can’t get a job after interviewing for so many. Please could you help him and will people reading this site please pray for him. He is a nice man who is really intelligent, but needs someone to give him a chance. Thank all of you that added your precious Prayers to this forum. I have Prayed for several years, reading each one of your needs, while praying for my son to achieve a Full-time job. You see, my son was born with poor eyesight, and has worn glasses since he was 18 months old and having one eye surgery at the age of 4. As a consequence of poor eyesight, his coordination made him the last to be chosen growing up for sports and also being teased relentlessly by mean peers. He has always, since 3 years old wanted to be a Police Officer, however, due to not having the best eyesight, although not legally blind by any means, wouldn’t allow him to pursue that dream. He has worked Part time for a grocery store making minimum wages for 14 years and treated badly by some management, so his self esteem was rock bottom. HOWEVER!, He never gave up. We have Prayed and Prayed and PRAYED. TODAY he was hired Full Time with benefits and a decent salary so that he can take care of his own finances and needs as a Communication Officer with the Sheriffs Dept. He now is fulfilling his life-long dream of being part of the law-officers team! Thank You! ALL OF YOU! DEAR LORD AND OUR PRECIOUS SAVIOUR we humbly are bowing our heads again and thanking you for answering this precious souls needs. My son can now begin holding his head high and he can finally be someone! We hope and Pray for all deserving sons to find their dreams as well!

Please help my son to have the initiative to continue studying for his CPA. He needs your help! He graduated from college 4 years ago and has failed exam twice. He has not been able to find employment. He will not admit he is discouraged but I think he is protecting me.
He has battled Crohns ever since his senior year in high school. This has caused him so much pain in the past he couldn’t hardly function at home never mind work. But thank you so much for the doctors who finally found something (HUMIRA) to help him.
He wants to work. I am afraid since he has not worked in 4 plus years employers will not even give him a chance. Please calm me too.
He is such a great young man. People love him. He has been asked to be best man in 3 weddings.I love having him around but we both know it would be best for him to be able to take care of himself.
