Prayer for overcoming lifes trouble and defeating the devils mind

by Anthony
(NY)

Dear Lord, I have been going through so much stress in my life that I've been on my knees. I feel like killing myself because I always let my mind backfire on me.

336x280:

Everyday, I always hear voices in my head that's saying "Hail Satan" and it tries to make fun of God. I love Jesus so much but everyday I have to deal with a battle with the devils minions of defending God's name in my head. I have completely messed up my life and I love the Lord Jesus Christ so much! I can't handle this alone. I've been going through a lot of trouble and I just lost one of my best friends of whom I like because of winning sympathy for no reason. Why do I always desire to make others feel sympathy. Sometimes I think of lustful thoughts about others and I always relies on good luck charms to help me.

I always say to myself, why do I keep torturing myself with following in Jesus Christ footsteps. I suffer everyday from fallowing it because I love him so much but it's so hard because I worry of you so much. Voices comes to my head that creates sin and it's trying to blaspheme you dear Lord. Everyday, I struggle with who I am and what I am and I always lose faith in you. I wish to trust in you Lord to the full point of serving you. Everyday I struggle with laziness as well as giving up so easily and admit to sin just to look cool.

Please Jesus Christ! I repent of my sins and all the schemes I've done in my life! Please come into my heart and transform me to be a better human being. I love you so much dear Lord and I do not wish to cause problems to anyone anymore just for the sake of sympathy. I trust in you to lend me the courage, grace, to confront my problems and fix them with your guidance. Please God! Hear my prayers! I'm in desperate need of you my dear Lord. I try to live the life you want me to but it's really hard when things like this happen. Please dear Jesus I'm so sorry for the sins I've committed. Please come into my heart and help me be a better person to serve you more better. No situation is greater then God because you my dear lord can help me get through life's troubles when people call out to you.

I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior AMEN!

I pray for you Anthony

I pray for you Anthony as it is I too suffer an ability to self defeat. I pray for you as I have a friend who it sounds like suffers from your same type and similar pain.

But so I write here today to tell you to keep praying and if you can sit still in the quiet for a moment.

If you have not eaten today, get some food into you. Drink some water, then try and do the next most simple thing you need to do today.

If that is all you can do. You have done well and God will see and understand.

Please do not kill yourself. I have had times where I felt as you feel now as well. It feels like an answer to the relief of pain but it also ends the possibility of joy which is really what I'll guess you want.

Those voices, you can get help for. You can start by telling/asking someone you trust about what to do. That person you ask should be someone who you know will not criticize you or make you feel ashamed.

As to your question about why do you seek sympathy? Please first know it is o.k. to do and that it is human and that is what we all are.

Next, if you are like me, please know it is possibly something learned in childhood as a "coping" mechanism. It was all we knew then, but it stops looking so "pretty" when we grow into being adults. If this rings as a possible truth for you try looking up something called ACoA it is a 12 step program for people like me who keep doing things to ruin their lives and can't figure out why.

Also if you can, sometime soon, try looking up at a local college or university the possibilities they may have for community counseling services. Most communities have and have a free or sliding scale if income is an issue.

Anyway, I hope all of this helps. I just had to write an answer to you as you have the name of someone who means a hell of alot to me, that I miss dearly and very much want back in my life. I know he too is struggling with his walk with God, trying to do what is good and right, and trying to cope with a lot of stress and I would wish words or wisdom would flow out to him that he, you and I too could feel and touch the love of Jesus in this day.

Hang in there Anthony, call a friend, know my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
