Prayer for Solace, Peace

Dear god please have mercy on me. I am suffering
After many years I am not making progress at work. I have given everything I've got but am not getting promoted. One of my colleagues received the promotion I thougt would be mine. I have been crying for days and feeling hopeless. I am very depressed unable to move on Please god help strengthen me and guide me to a better opportunity. I pray.
