Prayer for Strength to Endure

Heavenly father I pray and thank you for this beautiful day as I do most days. I am thankful for what you have provided me and my family for these many years. Bless my family and protect them in their daily lives. I pray for the relief of my family members who have medical issues and request their healing.

I pray for strength to be able to fight the cancer that has recently entered my body. Thank you for providing me the strength to beat the two previous cancers but this one may be unbeatable. I thank you Lord for helping me keep a positive attitude which has helped me help others in similar situations. Oh Lord hear my prayers and give my wife and family the strength to be able to deal with my illness. I understand all things are according to your will.

Lord I know you hear my prayers and I know I must go through these tribulations but grant me the strength to learn the lessons I need to learn.
