Prayer to defeat a habit

Hi I'm Ryan I'm 13 years old and I have a disorder called compulsive skin picking. I picked my skin ever since I was 5. I don't know how to stop but I want to. So I pray to god that he will give me support and love.

Hi Ryan, I am praying for you...please try to draw or write something to keep your hands busy and distract you whenever this feeling comes that you need to pick.

Ryan,
I am very familiar with things that feel out of our control. Ask God each and every day to take your need to control from you so that you may find peace. Listen to your doctors. Seek help. The people who love you are sent from God to help you. May God bless you and keep you well all the days of your life.

All God's creations are perfect. My dear, you are handmade by God. You are perfect the way you are because God God doesn't make mistakes. He loves you very much. I knows He is watching over you and is giving you strength to over come this. He said, "ask and you shall receive." You've asked Ryan, He is fulfilling his promise. The next time you have an urge to pick your skin, please remind yourself that the power of God is greater than any skin picking urges. Through Him, you have the strength and courage to deny that urge. Love you through Christ. You are in my prayer

I used to do something similar to this. Your skin is wonderful, everything about our bodies is truly amazing when you think about it. It will be fine without any intervention from you. This is a habit you don't need to do. Let your body take care of itself, it knows best and it will love you for it.

Think what you would say to someone else, younger than you, that started to do this too.
