Hi I'm Ryan I'm 13 years old and I have a disorder called compulsive skin picking. I picked my skin ever since I was 5. I don't know how to stop but I want to. So I pray to god that he will give me support and love.

I am very familiar with things that feel out of our control. Ask God each and every day to take your need to control from you so that you may find peace. Listen to your doctors. Seek help. The people who love you are sent from God to help you. May God bless you and keep you well all the days of your life.

I used to do something similar to this. Your skin is wonderful, everything about our bodies is truly amazing when you think about it. It will be fine without any intervention from you. This is a habit you don't need to do. Let your body take care of itself, it knows best and it will love you for it.

Think what you would say to someone else, younger than you, that started to do this too.
