Prayer to find my passion

To whom it may read,

I quit my job almost two years ago which was a mistake. I did it because I was so unhappy there, I thougth if I quit I would find my passion job.

Reality was that I am now two years later unemployed, depressed and extremely bored. I am praying to God that he helps me find my passion to fulfill with the right job.

I am humbly praying that my passion what the Lord intended for me to do as a career comes to me. Help me to find the right job I was born to do. I pray every day.

That was a very nice note you wrote. I'm trying to keep the faith everyday, but some days are harder than others.

I want so badly to use my God-given talents in a job I want to do.

I too pray for everyone who is searching for that job opportunity and that you all find what you are looking for - and what you deserve.

I know it's so hard to keep faith when things are down, but you just have to.

You also have to do some sort of action to promote what you want out of life. Like the saying goes, "Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you are not willing to move your feet."

Believe in what you want. Write down what you want and look at it everyday. Bring what you want to your life. You have the power to make it happen with the grace of God.

I believe in you and you have to believe in yourself, too!

Look up at the beautiful sky and see the miracles around you. You are a miracle and deserve what you want out of your life. See it, believe in it, write it down and go after it.

Peace and love be with you always....

I'm in a job which I now find gives me sleepless nights and headaches, but as my husbands disabled I find I cannot quit the few hours that I do, there are still parts of my job that I do like. This involves the members of the public that I encounter. I pray that in your search to find your passion you try to get out each day so that you can meet people and talk to them as this can help with depression. Try to find a local group or an education course that you can attend, doing this helped me many years ago when I was at home bringing up the kids. My husband had just left us in his depression with his disability; we are all back together now that he has come to terms with not being able to do the things he used to do.
I know that I should practice what I preach now and get out more, but I did find it helped me so greatly back then. I pray to God to find you peace and help you in you endeavours to find a new job or charity work that will help with the boredom. We send you all our love and hope that this will help you.

I am in a similar situation as you, I quit my job because I was unhappy and depressed there and now I am looking for work.
