Prayer to grow closer together

St Jude, yrs ago i witnessed a girl get murdered, and I was a coward. Now I've come forward, I have found grace and forgiveness with those who were closest to her, one person in particular.

I have fallen in love with him. And because of the situation, we can't get to know each other as friends (even though we are) or even date like normal people.

I know he likes and cares for me, and I feel the same for him. I beg you St Jude, please intercede and help this hopeless situation - please allow us to grow close together, and develop and enhance a really good friendship, which turns to love, so that we can find peace and happiness with each other.

We have both suffered and hurt so much, and please let something so good and pure come out of her death, so it not be in vain.

I haven't had a life of happiness, and he makes me happy, just as I know I could make him as well. He makes me feel safe, secure, happy, non-judged, and cared for, something I have never known before.

I know he has some problems, but I can live with them and will work through them with him.
It's the hopelessness of not being able to get to know each other that makes my heart ache so much. I don't want to die not knowing how we could have been.

Please, show mercy upon me and this situation and I beg of you, please intercede and allow us to find a way. I will be eternally grateful.
