Prayer to Heal and Rebuild Our Troubled Marriage

by Joan

Dear Lord,

I ask for your guidance and for your will to be done to restore my marriage of 20 years, to put it on high ground of love, mutual respect and spiritual growth in you Lord.

My husband says he no longer loves me, and he is involved in an adulterous relationship with a younger women. He is hardly at home, virtually ignores the children and treats me with utter coldness and disrespect. Moreover he says he wants a divorce.

Dear Father I love my husband and thought we had build a good life together and I never contemplated our sacred bond would end in a divorce.

Please Lord I ask that you come into the heart of myself and my husband, drive out the demons that seek to divide us, awaken the love that once burned in us for each other and put our Marriage on a plane higher than ever before.

If it is your will for this marriage to endure I ask that you give me the patience to wait on you, while you work on bringing my husband back home. Lord teach us to love you first, so that we may grow in renewed love for each other.

Thank you for answering my prayers Lord. Amen

Never give up NEW

Never give up! I went throught the same situation with my husband, we were married for over 20 years, we were separated for two years while he was seeing another woman. It was very hard. God put in my heart to wait and he gave me the strength to be faithful. One day I just couldn't take any more, I released my burden to God, soon after that God put us back together. We are now celarating 33 years together. I wish you all the strength and endurance to get throught this heartbreaking time in your life.
