I call this house (Heaven here on earth). Lord, I come to you to please modify our mortgage payment to an affordable payment.

Lord, the bank is dishonest and taking advantage of so many people... I am asking for you to please save my house and others who are in need!

Today I got a notice from BofA saying I owed them almost 100. I called and finally got a hold of someone after an hour of trying. They said it was a late fee. I said I paid all my late fees with each late payment. I should owe nothing.( I had just paid them 260. more than I owed them because of said late fees but was tired of fighting.) Now after an hour on the phone today I had been told 4 different things during the conversation and by the end of the hour she was basically saying I owed them another 1500!!!! by July 18th. The paper work they have sent me was all wrong. I can't get ahead. I just keep falling behind and they have no idea what is going on. But their mistake or not I owe and I owe and I owe. I do what they ask and it still isn't right. This has been going on for 2 years now.We have worked so hard to keep our home. We just paid them almost 3,000. what the paperwork said we owed and they made a mistake and because I called about owing 100. in a late fee their mistake was caught. Are they right I have no idea. No one ever gives me the same amount or the correct answer. Because they own my home I have to do what ever they want. They want me to fail. They won't give us a modification and won't tell us why.We owe them for June and July. We were going to make the the June this Friday but now owing them 1500, for some reason won't let this happen. I am just so lost. We have paid them what they asked for.

I have been reading this site since August. My heart aches for everyone here and for those in this world who are in the same situation. Everyone in this world deserves a home. It is heart breaking to know that so many people/families are suffering because of the greed of mankind. The greedy at the top of banks, gov, corporations and investment companies are to blame. Because they want more... people at the bottom suffer. Because they feel they are deserving... the people at the bottom suffer. I feel very sorry for them when their lives on Earth end. When they stand in front of God and have to explain what they have done. They will feel all the pain and suffering that they caused. It is so sad that these people have no compassion and heart for mankind. Hang in there everyone. Pray...pray everyday and never give up HOPE. God will not ignore you. He will always carry you. He loves you more than you will ever understand. Keep a faithful beautiful heart and give your troubles to God. Help people around you even though you are in such despair. Do what is right everyday no matter what happens.
I went through this mortgage darkness and thought I was out when I finished paying my forbearance agreement. I guess not. My loan was reinstated at the end of February and I thought it was over. I guess now BofA is saying because I didn't pay on March 1st my foreclosure is going through. Hmmm I was reinstated my payment slip said to pay ****.** by the 15th of March or pay an 89. fee if after. My contract for the past 6 months was up. I did everything they wanted and I have no other contract and I WAS reinstated. No where did it say I had to pay on the 1st of March. I have been calling for 12 days now and NO ONE will call me back. Evil....that is what is running this bank. God is the only one who can fight this kind of evil. Hang in there everyone. God loves us all.

Last summer I made a post here for prayers for a miracle to save our home. I received a letter from the banks lawyers saying the only thing they could do at this point was offer us a forbearance agreement. Our house was in foreclosure and our loan was put in limbo. We had to come up with 35% down (3600.) and then 3100.per month for 6 months. Our first payment was due 10 days after our 35% down. We were warned if our payments, by certified check, were not there on the 1st of every month by 3pm the foreclosure would be enforced. Being our last hope we took the deal and totally put our mortgage in Gods hands. I have to tell all of you to keep your faith. Some how God has carried us through. We have made every payment. Let me tell you we had obstacles of every kind thrown at us. It wasn't easy. We have one more on Feb 1st and we get our loan reinstated. Thank you everyone for your prayers. I am praying for all of you. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, we have one more payment and no we do not have the full 3100 as of yet, but I know He has not brought us this far to let us fail on our last payment. Please pray that we can make it in 10 days. God please, I plead of You to hear my prayers. In 2004, my parents were Blessed by being able to purchase a house. Throughout the years we made it into our home. It is nothing fancy, but it is my parents dream house (an older home on the corner, with a big yard). On Friday, February, 13, 2009 my dad was in a real bad work accident. He was buried alive (construction worker- pipe layer). He has had 2 shoulder, 2 back, and 1 neck operations due to the accident. My dad has not been able to go back to work. He is in pain 24/7. My parents fell behind on the mortgage payments due to all this and their home went into foreclosure. There is this gentleman that got my parents name & address from the foreclosure list that is willing to help them. I beg You to put their paperwork in the right hands and that a modification will be put in place for their loan. Also, please forgive my parents for any wrong decisions they may have made along the way in regards on how they have handled their finances. We have 2 more large payments and they will reinstate our loan. It's been a long tiring road but with His guidance and love we are almost out of this nightmare. I make a third of what was making in the first half of the decade. I thank God for teaching me that His will is for me to have joy in spite of circumstance. He is for me so who can come against me. He knew me in my mother's womb and the numbers of hairs on my head which changes when I allow doubt and fear in. But God. That's is it. The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer is an amazing energy for those to tap into. Earthly opinions and political rederick and greed mainly from banks is what got most of us into this. It's a little hard to pay for a mortgage when you lose your job and NO ONE is hiring because the rich want to hang onto their money. Banks are NOT higher than God. So for me I will believe in the power of prayer and NOT judgmental comments from close minded individuals who think they have all the answers. Not everyone can control what happens in their life. Don't judge someone until you have walked in their shoes. GOOD people are facing horrible times right now and it doesn't mean they are in total debt because they are stupid. Banks are usually your servicer. The investors (Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) and the government sets the guidlines. The best thing to do IF you have a FHA or VA loan is to go to www.hud.gov. Look at the criteria and resources for homeowners. Then look up the months to foreclosure set by your state. Maintain payments under that amount. The banks which are the servicers tell you to lower your debt because most workouts require pos financials and the ability to pay the loan back. If you can't, you can do a short sale (cause earthly possessions should not be where you put your value) and move to an affordable place or a deed in lieu sometimes gives relocation money. If there aren't loans to service the bank doesn't get paid. They want you to keep your loan. Hope this helps.

Dear God. we have been in our home for over 30 years. I grew up here and now my children are flourishing here. My mom got into problems with the various mortgage companies that our home has changed hands between since 2004. She was tricked into taking out bad loans on the home and was allowed to take out loans when her finances showed that they shouldn't have given them to her but, they did anyway and now through all the chaos, stress and lies that we have been told by attorneys, banks, insurance companies and mortgage companies, our home is in foreclosure. God please forgive us for any wrong decisions we may have made, along they way but, you know these people were not honest with us and forces are working against us to make us lose focus on you. But we love you Dear God and you gave us this home and it has been a sanctuary for not just me and my family but, for others as well. I lost my job a few years ago , but God was good to me and i got another job but i hd fallen behind on my monthly payments , I am now on 3000-00 in arrears and nearly done with the hose payments but the bank wantd to sell it after fighting so hard and paying a lot of legal fees , They have not given me a chance to breath . I am so sorry that Bank of America is doing this to you too. Yes you are right. They act like they are helping you but they are just buying time so you get further behind. Then all of a sudden you are in foreclosure. They are only helping people who don't have a real problem yet. And they have good credit. That way they show the gov't they ARE helping. But the gov,t is being snow jobbed. Bank of America does want to foreclose on people because they are taking advantage of people who are in trouble. They are very smart and know how to make a profit from each foreclosure. They lie when they say We don't want your house.That's a lie beacuase it costs them more money to spend time and effort helping people. They just want to cut all of us loose. We all need to write letters to the gov't and let them know before we are all homeless. The tax payers helped them without a say and they could care a less about us. There are millions of us. We fell behind in our mortage payments due to my husbands cancer, and I had an accident that lead to surgery - I was out of work. At Bank of America's (our mortg. co.) suggestion I worked with consumer credit counciling. The morgage company kept giving our case to different people we worked on this for approx. 8 months. Finally they said there was nothing they could do to help us. I begged them to just place the payements that we were behind, pass due fees, at the rear so that we could keep our home. When we moved to this area it was just country. Now it is building up and it appears to us that they are just looking to take advantage of our misfortune. Please help us pray that God will intervene and let us keep our home. OR if it is God's will for us to move he will show us where. In Jesus name I pray.

It has been a year since we applied for our modification. We have gotten no where. For our efforts, we even retained a lawyer and have accomplished nothing so far. Sadly we didn't even buy a nice home, we bought a fixer upper, prior to the housing bust. At the time it was all we could afford, then my husband lost his job and took a $70K cut in pay. Now we are stuck in a home in need of a LOT of repairs we cant afford , with a mortgage we can't pay and a house in such bad shape we can't sell even if we wanted to :( all I can say is Lord have Mercy on my kids! We have no where to go if we lose this one. I ask you to pour out your blessing on us all!

May God be with you all and bring an answer to your prayers. Stay strong and don't lose your faith and hope. He loves all of us everyday and promised to take care of us. I am in the same situation as you. I know God is helping us and He will do what is best for us. We are on a forbearance agreement and we had to put 35% owing down and now have to pay 3000. a month until February. If we are late once our home is gone. God blessed my husband with a great job last month and it's tight very tight but we have made it so far. We are having to sacrifice and work hard but He has given us a pathway. He didn't make it easy but He is giving us a chance. I believe He wants us to grow and learn from all of this. What use to be important isn't and our faith has grown even stronger.

I also need help with keeping my home and staying out of foreclosure. I know im not a totally good person,but I love GOD! I feel somteimes he doesnt hear me. I go to sllep worried and wake up worried abot my house. I am married and have 3 kids and 7 dogs that I truly love and care for. The lawyers who represent me tell me I need more bank statements which I cant show cause my accts. closed. I feel something always hinders my modification. My heart breaks for everyone. So many people are losing their homes and families are being torn apart by financial stress. I wish I could help all of you. I know how you feel. I am over 3 months behind myself and I don't have a moment of peace. I go to bed worried about my home and the second I wake up I am worried about my home. I have no idea where I am going to go, what am I going to do with my animals and most importantly of all my 12 year old son who is an amazing young man is going to be devastated. We thought it had been fixed then were informed they had not gotten one piece of paper - got the money, etc. but one paper piece short.
