prayer to open my husbands heart

My husband and I are currently separated and he's not at a place were he's willing to work on our marriage. We've been seperated for 1 1/2 months and during this time I've been able to see how I've contributed to this seperation. I want to change and I'm building my relationship with God.

I've also been praying that my husband may have a change of heart, and that he'd be willing to work with me on our marriage. So that we can have a marriage that I know God wants for us. I know that I alone can't save my marriage, I need help from the man upstairs. Please help me pray

I have been separated from my husband for 10 years this year and like you know I have contributed to the separation. I have also seen that no body is perfect . Most people will come to marriage as young adults but stick with their commitment and grow together as a family unit. I suspect in my marriage it was that he was not willing to fully make that commitment for us to grow together in love and I did not realise patience was needed to understand our situation. Many years later and hindsight is a great thing. I know I could not and should not have gone through stuff that I did. It does not stop me praying for reconciliation and a family unit for my children, my husband and my own self esteem. However, I want this on God's terms. Not mine. And He has never let me down. I know He will always do what is best for me. I thought I would share this with you and pray with you that God in his infinite wisdom will bear you up to give you the wisdom, courage and strength to overcome the obstacles in your situation and for your husband to return your love according to God's word (Ephesians 5: 25-30). +

Marriage

I will pray for both of you this morning
Please go to church each Sunday
See if the church has a marriage retreat
Catholic Churches have these sometimes
Not at church but they can tell you
It is difficult marriage requires commitment
Faith and The Lord in your life
May God bless you
