I was a very, very wealthy man for most of my life; however my faith in the Lord was a limited and conditional faith and I thought then I had all and more that any man can ask; BUT I did not have “peace in my heart”

In 2010 I lost everything I had, including my business, home and my fiancée, I lost “everything”. I have not been able to secure a job and ended-up living in my parents home and depend on them for all my needs; from a place to stay to them buying all my needs, including my bad habit on cigarettes smoking.

My situation has been very embarrassing, painful, frustrating and no hope in sight and much more; but I over a year ago completely surrender myself to the Lord and asked him to guide me, give wisdom and peace and that his will be always done in my life.
My situation has not changed, however I have such peace in my heart that I would not trade it for anything nor the comfortable ways I lead my life in the past.

I am NOT a religious fanatic in any way and I know in my heart, that all this that has happened to me has been under the guidance of the Lord and ALL for my benefit.

I know that I will be able to restart my life regarding my financial position and I’ll will start a new business, where my business plans includes helping my fellow human brothers and sisters in need and I will live a comfortable life in a godly manner.

Dear Lord, I don't want to be "Rich," I just want to make ends meet and be able to take care of my family. We have nothing left, I know that you are in control of everything and I believe it with all my heart...I scrounged up the $1 for the office pool, our water was shut off this morning, we have $0 in the bank, I have enough gas maybe to get home (it is on a prayer when my job is over an 1 hr. from my home), the Trustee wants a payment and a half at the end of the week when I get paid (I don't have it unfortunately-hubby won't have first meager paycheck until next week), if I don't make the payment and a half to the Trustee, we are going to loose our meager home, our 2 tattered vehicles, there is no food in the fridge to feed the children tonight, the gas and electric are scheduled to be shut off next along with the internet, phone, etc. My oldest is trying to figure out how to pay for college, I can't help him at all with the financials even though he knows I would if I could. I don't want to be "Rich" I just want to make ends meet, get out of this financial mess, keep my job and be able to take care of my family. We've had a lot of career problems and financial problems this last seven years. It all started when AT&T laid me off after 15 years of service. I found another job after 2 years of looking diligently. It paid a lot less and then I was laid off from that job in 2009! We have been living pillar to post since we were forced to sell our house and move with no place to go. We also lost all of our household items. I had to leave NJ and move to Georgia with relatives because we couldn't afford any of the apartments in NJ (they kept rejecting the application saying I didn't make enough) and some turned us down for bad credit.

Now we have to move again and I don't know how I am going to save the money for the security deposit and new furnishings and house hold items. I also have a lot of debt and bad credit left over from when I made $80 K year. Now I only make $40 K and I'm trying to clean up my credit and pay off these bills that are standing in the way of me being able to have anything, including a job in some cases. I find daily survival of keeping a roof over our heads and providing food to be a struggle. My job security is very questionable right now and there's a lot of backstabbing, bad talking,politics and nepotism in the office. It is a life long dream of mine to own a business of my own so I don't have to rely on anyone else for my well being, security and well being. I have found that if people have a choice with making or breaking you in this world, most of them will break you. Unfortunately, that is what I have experienced. I want to purchase a home outright so that no one can ever put me out of it and make me homeless again. I'm worried because when this rotation is over in 2015, I'll be 50 years old and its even harder to find work because the job market thinks you're old and washed up.

I'd also like to help my son in ways that I was never helped when I was his age. We have a lot of poor people in my own family.

I'd also like to build a shelter for all the homeless people in Atlanta. I buy them something to eat or give them a few dollars on an individual basis but there are tons of people living on the streets that need help. I am much more conscience of this since I have been in danger of being homeless several times in the past seven years.

He is the only one working and that also can not change in order to get the help that is needed. I can not move my 6 children ages 11, 8, 4, 3, 2 and 3 mths out of our small 3 br subsudized housing apartment because of the help we need and it is even impossible until two more years when his Jeep gets paid off to even attempt to try. I have no skills, no work history and no opportunity. We have no sitters or family to help us or rely on so we are in this FULLY alone! Without winning the lotto, I am in fear that I will either have no choice but to raise my children the best that I can and hope it's good enough to pass cleanly through the drugs/etc that surround us or that I will no longer be able to afford to handle them all and will have to resort as a last ditch effort in giving them to someone who could take care of them and that would LITERALLY KILL ME! We NEED this. We don't just want this, we NEED this! My plans would be to obviously raise us a good family for society but also to start up a Church, a Christian based camp that aims towards giving kids an insight to life lived/enjoyed constructively (sports, hobbies and such, and a home based parent/child mentoring program. All connected but seperate also. I feel this would give back to the world that blessed us and accomplish God's request toward us in sharing his name and ways, in hopes to save those who do not know him. I do believe that I have been a good enough person for the Lord. Never perfect but always had him top in my heart. I pray that he forgives me for my promise to stop smoking and not doing so but if he does, than I feel I am worthy of this blessing. Please lord hear me in this time of need and know that almost any human would want this and we do too but even more so, it just may be the ONLY thing to keep us together in the end. I pray that I will win the euro millions on 12th july 2011 so I can help out those poor people in africa, I can help the homeless find shelter and grant wishes to children who struggle in life.
