Prayers for strength and guidance after Affair

by Erica
(Green Bay, WI)

I admit, I have fallen away. I have never stopped my belief in God, however, I have questioned things. I now see that the divine power is mysterious and we can't always see why things work they way they do. Saying that, can I please ask for prayers of strength and guidance as I confront my significant other who has been unfaithful. I appreciate the faith and good thoughts you are willing to share with me.

I pray that you have the strength given to you by Jesus Christ to confront your significant other. Sometimes we don't always understand God's path for us, and sometimes we may fall stray. but that doenst mean he does not love us. God puts tests and trial throughout our lives to prove our faith and love to Him, we may fail, and we may falter, but know that Jesus will be carrying us along the way. We will NEVER know why some things happen the way that we do, or why the world is like this, but we aren't meant too. I as well am always curious but you just need to bounce yourself back to Jesus Christ and help him give you the utmost strength. All in All, He does know whats best, he created you!

He Knows your name

Beloved, Jesus knows your name, He cares for you and He sees each tears that falls and He will keep you and uphold you. He said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Matt 11:28. "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning Psalm 30:5.
Get closer to him and you will see somethings different from how you are seeing it now.

on you and your significant other. You, for healing and the other for forgiveness. This is not an easy path, I too have been through it. Stay near God and you will find strength. Blessings and peace to you.

I am going through a similar situation and with love, patience, and God you can get through this. I have no idea why your husband would put you through this, but God is walking with you. I read the Footprints poem every morning and every night to remind me of that.
