Dear God and Father:
It has been some years now since I have been praying to you for full time employment. Employment that commensurate my education, ability, and skillset. Please forgive me for the times when I gave into my weaknesses by allowing doubt, distrust, hopelessness, faithlessness, and frustration to prevail. My situation has reached a point where it is affecting me mentally, and it is Your miraculous intervention that I need now for relief. This burden is too much to carry. Oh! the pain, the hurt, the suffering. My reach out to man has not brought me help. There is no one else for me to turn to, so I come back to You again, in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, I am asking You for a full time day job, please. Remove all obstacles that stand in the way. Each day I get older, and as I age, my chances at getting hired diminish. Create a position, open a door, a window, to an opportunity; direct me to it; prepare me for the interview; give me the correct responses to the interview questions; that I would be made an offer. Father, I am not asking for millions of dollars. I am asking that You would bless me with a job that will pay enough to meet my living expenses, and with excess to take of my blessings and be a blessing to others. Lord God, I pray for a return to the prosperity You granted before, a time when I was paid $134,200 per year. Oh God, I ask like the Psalmist David for You to incline Your ear unto me; hear my cry; and hasten to answer me. Lord, I do not want Satan to win my battle, so I pray for Your strength to defeat him at his every attack. I confess my sins now, and ask please for Your forgiveness. I pray that if there is anything that I have done that would cause You to descend Your wrath upon me, I ask for your forgiveness, and for another chance to do better. I pray too for Your healing of any and all infirmities that may lurk in my body. Lord God, please hear my prayer, and answer me today. I would be oh so careful to give You all thanks, and all praise. This prayer I lift up to You in the majestic name of Jesus Christ, Your son and my savior. Amen.
