To be free, indeed

Most gracious and Heavenly Father,


I come to you with a heavy heart, asking you to forgive me for making the decisions that ultimately put me in debt. Whether my fault or not, I am in debt and I need you to release me from from stupidity so I don't plunge further in debt. I am more than sure there are others around me with the same sentiments. For those, I pray fervently also. Proverbs 22:7 says, "...the borrower is servant to the lender." Romans 13:8 says, "Owe no man anything except to love one another..."

As long as I am in debt, I can't fully fulfill these holy precepts. Forgive me for ALL of my sins, willful and unknowing. Please Jesus, release me from ALL my debts. Everything is yours to give or keep. I humbly ask that you hear my cry and heal my heart by allowing me to surrender my debts and my will at your beautiful feet. I believe in miracles for all of your hurting children.

You are in charge and you are the only way to true freedom from our debts. Grant us the patience and knowledge that you have already answered our prayers. In your Holy Name we pray, Amen.
