I was asked by my ‘daughter in love’ if I would say the blessing at the reception. I was honored she asked, but immediately went to the Lord telling Him I can’t do it. “Lord, I won’t know what to say, what if I cry, what if I ramble?” I opened my bible to begin my devotions and had been in Exodus due to a bible study I am in. As God had it, my lesson that day was Exodus 3 where God told Moses to go to the Israelites and tell them He has heard their cry for help. Moses argued – just like I had been. I heard Him. I will obey. I can’t wait! Finding this beautiful prayer has given me the godly confidence I prayed for. Thank you for sharing it!!! Wedding is December 6th. Prayers are welcome. 😉
