THE WIND WILL NOT PUSH DOWN A HOUSE BUILT ON THE ROCK.
by: Anonymous

The word of the Lord. " Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these things will be added unto you... and everything you ask for,in the name of Jesus Christ believing, you shall receive."
Dear friend, we are in the same situation. I have four lovely kids and a beautiful wife. I left them to seek for greener pastures. It has never turned green for me but greener. I have lost every earthly thing that he gave me but my kids.I have gained a lot by knowing. He did not keep me down, depressed or stressed but uplifted my spirit to read his scriptures and words. He gave me understanding and increased my knowledge to lean on him. And today I will proudly say I can call on him at anytime, believing and he will answer me.My trust in him grows everyday. My faith in him grows to a shot and to a large tree, just a mustard seed. I will gladly say I love the Lord. I believe he is alive. He hears me when I call.
He can answer you too if you believe and put your faith in him. He loves us.There is this thing he says we should do.We have all sin and come short of his glory. But his plan for us is to return to his glory and presence. We can only do this by accepting Christ, believing in him, accepting him as our personal Lord and savior. To come to our father's presence, we must Repent, realizing and accepting that we have sinned. We will be Baptized by immersion into water, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit by a worthy male member who holds the Priesthood of the Lord. You will be given the Holy Ghost, the third person of the Godhead, by the laying on of hands on your head. You will also receive a blessing and then confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.Keep reading the truths. He will give you understanding of his words. A lot will be revealed to you.You will not think that he has abandoned or forsaken you if you are prayerful. He will direct and comfort through the holy spirit in you. He will be with you even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear nothing for he is with you always.
My dear, I leave you and your kids with the Peace of the Lord that surpasses all understanding. He watches over you with his eyes. He covers with the shadow of his wings as a hen covers its chicks. FEAR NOT FOR THE LORD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS.
Wait and be Patient. He will answer you at his time , which is the best. Be blessed in Jesus' name. Amen

Oh my God don't feel that way. God loves you. And the feeling of being unworthy comes and goes because God wants you to know you have to be worth something to you first, smile because you mean to and give yourself value. I'm not sure what everyone else commented on this, but the people on this website at least care. God does not want you to meditate, he wants you to Love him, your kids, your life, and yourself <3.

When all is said and done
by: Anonymous

I can speak from experience. From the other side of how you feel. I was the hurtful one. Left a wife and 3 children a long time ago. I have never been whole since that day. Understand one thing, that nothing in this world is more important than the way those kids feel about you today, tomorrow and for the rest of their life. When you pass, the feeling your children have for you is the single most important legacy of your life. If you make them your life, if you start over, with those kids happiness and success and well being your aim, then you have lived a good and decent life. When they think of their father, there will be a numbness, an indifference. They will not be able to conjure up tears or emotions. For you though, there will be time for someone else down the road. Right now though, heal the children, provide a sense of calm amongst the chaos. There are going to be lonely days and nights and holidays. Look around though, there are people in relationships lonelier than you are as a single person. Life is not easy for any of us. Take the bad days with a sense of perspective and remember we all have days like that. You wake up each day and you can find the simple pleasures in life and you move on. Good Luck

Your Worthiness
by: Anonymous

Dear Mona,

Did you know that God bottles all your tears? His Word says, "You have taken account of my wanderings (journeys), put my tears in Your bottle: are they not in Your book?"--Psalm 56:8 He cares deeply about you! Yet we are not worthy, not one. "There is none righteous, not even one." --Romans 3:10 "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." --Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LOrd." --Romans 6:23. It is not by our own worthiness that we may obtain anything from Him; it is only by His grace. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves (not through your own efforts); it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, that no one should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 How then do we take advantage of this free gift that makes us worthy? Romans 10:9-10 says "...that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved, for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." Because of our confession and belief of what He has done by dying on the cross for our sins and being raised again from the dead (Ours is a living God!), we receive His free gift of eternal life. Dear Mona, we then wear HIS cloak of righteousness, for we have none of our own. All of our righteousness is like filthy rags! It is all about what HE has done, and nothing of our own. Here's a simple prayer to receive His free gift: "Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for me. I admit I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my life as Savior and Lord." The Lord wants a personal relationship with you, Mona. Read in His Word every day. Ask Him to help you understand what He is saying to you. Meditate on His Word. Keep a journal of your thoughts. The Gospel of John is a good place to start. Surround yourself with supportive Godly women, such as in a Bible study; they will pray with you and help you in your walk with Him. I will pray for you, too. All of God's promises are true, Mona. Continue to trust in Him with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding (Prov 3:5-6. God bless you and keep you!

Mona, You will make it through. I am right where you are with kids as well, its just been a few months. Sometimes its our children that keeps us going. Think about growing up without either of your parents? Be there for your children, they need you more than ever. l tried faking it even though everyday was a nightmare. l asked myself the same questions for 17yrs. My husband even sold my business that I toiled for while he was busy with his rendezvous behind my back and took off with all the money. I have felt so worthless and asked so many whys.If he was to leave, nothing was going to stop him. His mind was already made up. He only celebrates when he sees you suffering. I will gladly tell you that God is watching his every move and he will soon reap a bitter seed. I pray for the children to be strong even though its easy to say. May you pray with them and seek guidance from the holy spirit. May our Heavenly Father watch upon you and your children. My eyes are filled with tears since l am right there. May the Lord shower you with his comfort through his divine and majesty power..

Time to wake up
by: Anonymous

Why would you want to DIE?
Your children need you more than ever now.
My ex husband passed away recently, i would of loved him
To of witnessed our children growing up, even though we were no longer together. Sometimes we have to stop looking at the negatives and live for today. As the saying goes,
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow may never come, but today is the present (which is why it is a gift) how will YOU appreciate your gift? Don't complain to God! Be thankful. Sure, your husband left you, but you were not put on this earth attached to your husband. There is life after divorce!

You Are Not Alone
by: Patty

Mona,it is not easy to be alone, but it does get bearable. Dwelling on the fact that you are alone only makes it worse. If you could find something meaningful to do for others to enrichen their lives, it will come back and do so for you also. The holidays are especially difficult for us who are alone. Please be glad for those families who appear happy, there are probably many of them that are coping with their own sadness. May God bless you and you broken heart, and may he heal your spirit. You are worthy.

YOU A WORTH MORE THAN PLATINUM ITSELF
by: Anonymous

That that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their sthrength. Waiting upon the Lord and trusting in his promises is the best you can do. He says in his word 'He will never leave us nor forsake us'. He is there for us everyday in every situation, he never changes. He loves you, he wants you. He will make things happen in your favour. The bible says 'He has good thoughts for us, not to destroy us but to see us succeed. So as long as you have God on yourside, forget about this man, he will carry his own cross, he will definately reap whatever he sows. Just cling to that old rugged cross, you will exchange it someday for a crown cos God is watching, Dont cry my dear there a a lot of women in this situation, I am also a victim of the same situation, its been two years and a half now, four children, abandoned, but the good Lord has kept me going. I am pulling through, that is why I am able to say to you , pull through dear. God is faithfull. So please dear, rest in Gods faithfullness.

You Are Such A Blessing
by: Anonymous

Mona, you are worth more than you can ever imagined. God made you according to his image and he was very proud when he chose you. You are one of a kind and by writing your prayer and sharing it with others you have helped sooo.... many people. It takes a strong, loving person to share her inner feelings and make them known to others who are feeling and asking themselves the same question. I am one of them! What has helped me is "HOPE" even though you may feel like you are walking in darkness know that God is always walking with you and that he is actually carrying you guiding you so you can get to the light. Pray and be thankful for the blessings you have and surrender completely to him, God has more Blessings coming your way!
Your sister in Christ!

PRAISE YOUR WAY THROUGH THIS
by: Anonymous

The Father has plans for us, and they are plans of good. He made these plans before the foundation of time. People don't always do what is in the will of God and will do things to hurt us, but that does not change God's plan for us. I understand how you feel -- I've been in a similar situation. I'm still in it. But the grace and peace of God will cover you. Ask the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to dwell in you and help you to remember the nature of God and specifically ask for the PEACE OF GOD to take over!

Take the focus off what your husband did to you and onto what you are going to do -- for yourself, your children, and your faith. Stop worrying about your husband and let God take care of him. Where does your faith rest ... in God or your circumstances? Whose report do you believe? I'm believing in the report of the Lord!

Encourage yourself, cast down those thoughts of doubt and despair! Fill yourself with the word of God. It will strenghten you. Turn off the TV and put on Christian music -- hymns, spirituals and contemporary. Try some fast music, get up and sing and shout and dance and start praising your way through this. Let your children see you in worship -- they will join in, trust me!

Praying for you, my sister!

You ARE worthy
by: Anonymous

Dear Mona,

You are indeed worthy... worthy of God and worthy of Love. The actions of your husband has no bearing on your worth. A man should not leave his wife and children and cause them pain. I know someone whose husband also left them and their child. She found that counseling helped her. May I suggest reaching out to people who you would feel comfortable talking to in the church? You should NOT be going through this alone. Remember the commandment, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." As we would want others to be there for us, we would be there for them. God loves you and he placed love in our hearts for each other. Maybe by speaking with others, you will realize God speaking to you.

Courage to go on
by: Anonymous

You had the courage to write down your prayer and your heartache for all of us to read. God is giving you that courage. God does not always speak directly to us. His way is mysterious. Follow the light. Don't look back, go forward. Climb up, don't look down. When you finally get to the top, you will know it and when you look back you will see how far you came, and you will be amazed and you will know, you could not have been alone during that climb.

Your heart is broken, your strength is waning but you are still praying. I will pray with you and make you one prayer as loud as two prayers. God loves you dear, don't just listen for his words, feel his love. It is all around you. In the smiles of your children, in the beauty of the sunset, in the innocent eyes of a baby. In the hands of a stranger that holds a door for you. You have your whole life ahead of you. You have so much to look forward to. Don't give up because God's love inspired me to write this to you.

You are more than worthy in Him
by: Grace.

Mona,
God never abandon or leave us. We sometimes want our way so much so that we miss what God wants us to have: the very best according to His will. I have been there and I am now living in His will. Started as a single parent, abandoned by two fathers of my two children. Confused and lost until I stopped trying to have it my way and allowed Him to show me the way. Set that man free and see what God wants for you and your children. Just try this and see what happens. God bless you, stop crying, start praying and wait upon He who knew your life's journey before you were even conceived.

God bless.

I Pray This Prayer Everyday
by: Anonymous

I pray the pray of St. Patrick, everyday. It has gotten me through many, many days!

I arise today
Through the strength of heaven;
Light of the sun,
Splendor of fire,
Speed of lightning,
Swiftness of the wind,
Depth of the sea,
Stability of the earth,
Firmness of the rock.

I arise today
Through God's strength to pilot me;
God's might to uphold me,
God's wisdom to guide me,
God's eye to look before me,
God's ear to hear me,
God's word to speak for me,
God's hand to guard me,
God's way to lie before me,
God's shield to protect me,
God's hosts to save me
Afar and anear,
Alone or in a mulitude.

Christ shield me today
Against wounding
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down,
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in the eye that sees me,
Christ in the ear that hears me.

I arise today
Through the mighty strength
Of the Lord of creation. Amen. Amen Amen.

by: Anonymous

Mona,

You are very worthy. God is there for you and your family and your blessings will come very soon. I know that it feels like you are dealing with the whole world on your shoulders by yourself. I have been here many times. Focus on the blessings that you do have..yourself and your children. Give thanks for the opportunity each day to be with your children, spend time with your family, being able to pay some money towards a bill (even if it isn't the full amount). God will provide for you soon, as you give thanks for the blessings that has been provided for you during these tough times.

Don't Give Up
by: Anonymous

Please don't give up as God is listening and is with you. Yesterday i met and spoke to a woman maybe 50 that needs the use of a walker while my wife was at the dr;s office. I helped her put her coat on as that was a struggle. while she was waiting for the small handicap bus we talked. She told me that she has sciatica and needed the walker and scooter to get around but managed until 2009 when while crossing the road close to home while in her scooter she was hit by a car. She is really struggling now to get around and has speach issues as well. We talked about how she could only get out on good days when the pain was manageable. She told me when she goes shopping she needs help getting food off top shelves and is afraid to ask for help. All the while she smiled as she told me all these things. She inspired me yesterday! Sometimes God speaks to us through others. Things could be worse. Love Steve
